Podcasting operational change management inside of workflows to establish a framework. Taking seamless key performance indicators offline to maximise the long tail. Keeping your eye on the ball while performing a deep dive on the start-up mentality to derive convergence on cross-platform integration.
Apart from being a DevOps, I enjoy most of my time being outdoors with my children. My children are my life.
When forced indoors, I like reading sci-fi and fantasy genre books as well as technical books (Manning and O'Reilly).
I also like playing electric guitar and listening to hard rock.
I learned to play self-taught.
Back in 1999, I started my approach to computer science, with a pentium2 computer and 1GB of hard disk. On that fantastic PC...Windows 95 was pre-installed, which unfortunately crashed with a blue screen, so I went to the newsstands; I bought LinuxMagazine and found an attached CD. I installed Mandrake Linux 5.3. From here, I fell in love with open source and everything that goes around it. I started my first automations with bash and with Linux.
In 2005, I changed distribution. I bought a new PC and installed Fedora Core 2, and to date, this is the distribution that has accompanied me at home and at work. In the same year, I started programming in Python. The first programs were designed to automate personal data flows, such as taking, processing and publishing documents on the internet. Python, is my favorite programming language, for its simplicity and portability.
Today, I call myself a "Pythonic programmer". My philosophy for anything, was inspired by "The Zen of Python, by Tim Peters": "Simple is better than complex. Complex is better than complicated." My projects and every single line of code written by me is open source and can be found on my Github.
